Road biking

Got a road bike recently, a Fuji Team Carbon. Nice bike. Went on a decent ride last Saturday. I went about 12 miles. According to Trailguru on the iPhone my top speed was 32mph, avg spd 15.6mph, total time 40min. I had a few minutes stopped to sip some water and give my behind a needed rest. =)

Memorial day – magic kingdom, trip 3

We woke this morning and went to magic kingdom again early to hit the last few rides we previously missed. Splash Mountain, peter pan & small world, again. Cam and I did barn stormer twice while Caeley met all the fairies and princesses. Caeley rode barn stormer but did NOT like it. then we got face paint done before heading out. Thousands were streaming in for what I imagine will be a very crowded memorial day. We are headed back to the hotel for lunch and some down time. May hit downtown Disney later.

Animal Kingdom Saturday

Spent the day so far at animal kingdom. We got to see lots of animals on the safari ride and got pics with lots of characters. Headed back for swimming at the hotel.

Saturday in Disney

Woke with Cam at 615am to the most sunshine we have seen since our arrival. Looks like a big day is in store.

Day ended nicely. Went swimming and went down the huge pirate ship water slide several times with Cam. No rain in sight.

Day 3 in Disney – more rain

Spent the morning at Hollywood again and got to see lots of amazing starwars stuff during the first day of starwars weekend. Actors, troopers, droids, Vader, Jedi and jawas were walking all over the park. We were able to catch the starwars parade between rain showers and avoided a downpour by going to eat a “character” lunch at the playhouse Disney diner where Cam and Caeley got to meet Jojo and Goliath and several of the little einstein gang. The food was fantastic, very, very good stuff for a buffet. After lunch we walked around and eventually were caught in another downpour and had a bad time getting a ride out of the park since the ferry was shut down. Currently we are just enjoying the hotel while the rain falls.

Magic kingdom day!

Rain has slacked off. So far we’ve hit star tours (of course), the muppet show and now a break at pizza planet.
